Who we are?

Simply put, Jelmor is a free information collection site. The idea for Jelmor was conceived many years ago as Ernie and I discussed ideas for interesting websites that people, like you, would find useful. We have full-time jobs, but in our spare time we have put together, what we think, is a very useful tool. It is increasingly more difficult to find good and timely information on the web these days. Either there is too much or too little of what we all are looking for. In addition, more and more experts are putting their thoughts and insight in a form that can be collected, put together and delivered to you. This is where Jelmor comes in. We find the best sources of information and we put them together in a concise, easy to use format. We hope you will find Jelmor very useful. Jelmor is timely, because we actively collect information every five minutes, so you can be assured it is up-to-date.

The Jelmor name comes from the first letter of our respective six children's names. We have enjoyed putting this site together and, yet, in some ways it has taken away time from our families. In honor of them, we have named the site Jelmor.

What's in it for you?

For our first offering, we have collected several useful sources about Apple. We have a financial information feed, an iPhone feed, a telecom feed, an Apple product comparison feed and an Apple OS X feed. We decided on Apple because it is, frankly, what Ernie knows the most about. He has been an active Apple investor and user of Apple products since 1979. It seemed a natural that we develop an assortment of feeds that he finds useful and therefore you should find useful too.

But, please, we are not just an Apple site. The tools we have developed can be used for any topic. In fact, we would love to hear from you. Feedback is so important. We would like to hear your thoughts on how the site works for you, if you find it useful and how you think we can make it better. Join our blog.

In addition to our site, we have created Google gadgets that can be accessed from the site or iGoogle. The Google gadgets are a handy way of presenting the titles for our feeds and when you find something of interest, link back to Jelmor.
